You need to create a pattern for your yo-yo.

Cut out the fabric.





Make the last stitch end at approximately the same point as the first stitch. This ensures that the yo-yo gathers up evenly and neatly


The fun bit. Gently pull up the thread to gather the yo-yo. You may need to push the fabric inside as you gather up the fabric.
